Hello everyone,
After much discussion, the Board of Directors has voted to have a membership fee for our group. This will have to be voted on by our members at our general meeting, Saturday April 23rd. This would help us have a valid membership list, if passed.
We decided that the membership fee would be $2 per year. If you cannot afford this, there will be a scholarship available for you. If you choose not to pay the membership fee, you are still always welcome to attend our meetings.
The membership dues will be due on or before our annual meeting which will be in the Spring, but you can also pay the membership dues anytime during the year before our annual meeting.
Our next general meeting will be on Saturday, April 23rd. ,and we will take a vote of the membership to see if they accept the new changes of the bylaws and vote to accept the membership dues. If adopted and accepted, our new membership cards will be on sale at the venue for $2.
