Mint Shamrock Dog Treats For St. Patrick’s Day

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Fresh Mint leaves ((pack in measuring cup))
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley Parsley ((pack in measuring cup))
  • 1 Whole egg
  • 1 tablespoon fractionated coconut oil
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 drop food coloring (optional)
  • 4 cups Gluten free baking flour ((or whole wheat flour or all purpose flour))
Instructions
  1. preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Use a food processor and blend the first 5 ingredients.

  3. If you want it greener add moreĀ  drops of green food coloring.

  4. add the wets ingredient to the flour. If it is too dry and crumbly add a little more water. You are looking for play dough consistency.

  5. Roll out dough on a floured surface and knead the dough a little more. Roll out to 1/4 inch
    thickness.

  6. Place the cut out dog treat on a cookie sheet.

  7. Put them in the oven for 20-30 minutes.

  8. Then turn the oven off and let them cool in the oven to get more crunchy. If you want them a little softer take them out after 20-30 minutes.

  9. Let them cool on a cooling rack.

  10. Feed them in moderation it is a treat not a meal replacement.
