I Carried a Watermelon

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Slice the watermelon into cubes, ensuring all the rind has been removed.

  2. Roughly slice the kiwi into small pieces.

  3. Puree the watermelon in a blender, and blend until smooth. Fill the ice cube trays about halfway up with the watermelon puree.

  4. Puree the kiwi pieces in a blender, and puree until smooth. Fill the ice cube trays on top of the watermelon puree and freeze for a minium of 4 hours or until frozen through.

  5. When frozen, remove from the ice cube trays, and placed in labeled zip lock bag in your freezer.

Note

Handy hint: If you want them to look like real watermelon after the first layer put in the freezer for one hour and then add the second layer. You can also wait until the first layer is completely solid before continuing.
